Volunteer With Us!
What We Provide
At Arctic Rescue, our volunteers are an essential part of saving lives. Whether you're helping behind the scenes or working directly with dogs, we'll provide the tools, guidance, and support you need to make a meaningful impact.

As a volunteer, you'll receive:
-
Training and resources for your role
-
Ongoing support from our leadership team
-
Opportunities to learn about dog rescue, behavior, and care
-
Flexible ways to get involved based on your schedule and interests
-
A welcoming community of fellow animal lovers
-
The chance to directly help dogs find safety, foster homes, and forever families
Most importantly, you'll experience the incredible reward of helping homeless dogs get the second chance they deserve.

What We Expect
Our volunteers represent Arctic Rescue in the community and play a critical role in our mission. We ask that volunteers:

-
Treat all dogs, adopters, fosters, and fellow volunteers with kindness and respect
-
Communicate reliably and respond promptly when participating in volunteer activities, including checking slack once daily for messages on priorities
-
Follow Arctic Rescue policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
-
Commit to tasks and events they sign up for whenever possible
-
Maintain a positive, professional attitude when representing the rescue
-
Prioritize the welfare and best interests of the dogs at all times

You don't need prior rescue experience to volunteer - just a willingness to learn, help, and be an advocate for our dogs.
