Open Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways to become involved with Arctic Rescue even if you can’t adopt a dog! Here are some of the open volunteer positions so you can help support our mission and help rescue more arctic breeds! To apply, please fill out a volunteer application below.

Applications Processors
Review and evaluate incoming foster and adoption applications to help place rescue dogs in safe, loving homes.
Foster Coordinators
Provide ongoing support and resources to foster families, addressing their needs, concerns, and questions, and ensuring they have the necessary support to provide temporary care for rescued dogs.
Events Coordinator
Project manages Arctic Rescue events from kick-off to post-event follow-up, including in-person event coordination. Includes assigning tasks such as the development of event promotional material and in-person volunteer support. Hands-on time commitment is needed, per event.
Copywriter
Write social, website, newsletter, and campaign copy for the rescue on a recurring basis. Ownership of a monthly newsletter & email mailing list for ongoing campaign and fundraising efforts.
Graphic Designer
Create designs for social, website, newsletter, and campaign content for the rescue on a recurring basis.
Foster Relations Manager
Helps place dogs from Arctic Rescue’s intake list into already-approved foster homes. This role involves reaching out to fosters, coordinating placements, and confirming arrangements before handing the foster off to their assigned coordinator. This position requires approximately 10 hours per week of volunteer time. Bonus if you have prior rescue experience.
Unless otherwise noted, all roles entail a weekly commitment of approximately 3-5 hours
