Open Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to become involved with Arctic Rescue even if you can’t adopt a dog! Here are some of the open volunteer positions so you can help support our mission and help rescue more arctic breeds!

Remote-friendly

Events Coordinator

Project manages Arctic Rescue events from kick-off to post-event follow-up, including in-person event coordination. Includes assigning tasks such as the development of event promotional material and in-person volunteer support. Hands-on time commitment is needed, per event. 

Foster Coordinators

Provide ongoing support and resources to foster families, addressing their needs, concerns, and questions, and ensuring they have the necessary support to provide temporary care for rescued dogs. 

Hike Leader - potentially temporary

Lead organized pack hikes to provide essential exercise, enrichment, and socialization for our huskies.

Social Media Coordinator

Create engaging, brand-appropriate posts. Execute a steady posting schedule of at least 4 posts per week across all primary channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

Social Media Manager

Submit a minimum of 3+ content requests/per week. Monitor and respond to all comments and direct messages (DMs) in a timely, professional manner. Route adoption inquiries, volunteer applications, or urgent rescue pleas to the appropriate internal departments.

Unless otherwise noted, all roles entail a weekly commitment of approximately 3-5 hours
