Help Us Find a Home for Bruce!

Bruce and his friends are looking for a home:
Misty, Pixar, Poppi

Hey! I'm Millie!
Will you be my valentine? I'm a confident 9 year old lady who's as sweet as can be. I love snuggling up with my humans just as much as I enjoy being outside, whether that's going on a long walk or laying in the sun. I have a medium energy level, love playing with rope toys, and I'm friendly with my foster dog siblings. I even love going on road trips! If you think you might be my perfect match, let's make it official! I can't wait to meet my new family.

Leash training tips and tricks
Huskies were born to pull, so it’s no surprise they will also try to pull you down the street when you go for a walk! Here are some tips to help them with loose leash walking:
Use a slip lead or leash on a collar when training your dog to walk on a leash. A harness may encourage them to pull without giving them good feedback.
Whenever your dog pulls on the leash, stop until they release the tension. You may only go a few steps at a time at first, but eventually they’ll learn they can’t pull if they want to move forward.
Be patient! Your dog isn’t going to learn how to walk on a loose leash immediately, but with practice and consistency, you’ll get there.
