Hey! I'm Melon!
I’m a happy, energetic 2-year-old girl who loves car rides, enjoys spending time with my people, and is learning how fun it is to be part of a family. I’m especially enjoying time with my dog friends in foster care and have been building confidence through those relationships. I do best with gentle, respectful introductions and appreciate dogs who help me feel secure. I look to my people for guidance and reassurance, and I thrive when I know I’m doing a good job. I enjoy my kennel and feel safe there. At the end of the day, I’m a soft, social, affectionate girl who may need a little reassurance, but in return, I give endless sweetness, loyalty, and heart. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will grow more confident with every passing day—and who will absolutely melt your heart along the way—I’d love to meet you!

Meet the Arctic dogs at Petpalooza
Join us next month for one of Utah’s biggest animal adoption festivals featuring adoptable pets, vendors, food trucks, photos, and more! It's the perfect chance to meet our adoptable huskies, chat with our team, and maybe find your new best friend. Come say hi!
When: Friday, September 11 (3pm - 7pm) and Saturday, Sept. 12 (9am - 4pm)

Rescue newcomers
In the past month, 18 new dogs came to the rescue. Give a warm welcome to Denali, Nyla, Spade, Kiitos, Fisher, Roha, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Shelbie, and Shelbie’s 9 puppies! Learn more about them on our website.
Recent adoptions
Nine of our dogs found their home in the past month, including Callie, Jazzie, Byron, Genevieve, Percival, Hugo, and Brownie, as well as Mercedes and Denali (not pictured). Congratulations to those who have added furry family members to their homes!
