Shadow

Hi future family, my name is Shadow! I am estimated to be around a 2-3 yr old husky. I have the iciest blue eyes and cutest bouncy ear tips!

I am fully house trained and have become a pro with a doggy door. I also know a few basic commands like “sit” and “shake.” I am super food motivated so that’s one way to convince me to learn some new things hehe! I am however still learning my name but we’ll get there. My foster doesn’t use crates but I have been awesome at being free range! Of course I am super smart though and always willing to try new things!

I have loved all dogs of all shapes, sizes, and gender! I’m still learning how to engage in play so usually I’ll just be pouncing in circles around a dog that’s caught my attention. So it’s nothing that comes off as unfriendly, I am just working on my confidence. I do like to join in on zoomies though! I’ve definitely mastered the group play just not the one on one play quite yet. I would definitely do amazing in a home with other dogs though!

I do take some time to allow myself to trust other humans. At first, I may be a little skittish and like to just follow you to see what you’re all about. I definitely do better when you’re in a sitting or crouching position though. Then I am ALL over you with kisses and head rubs! Once I warm up to you, I am the most cuddly husky you’ve ever met and definitely am convinced I’m a lap dog! So far I have grown to love every human I encounter in my foster family!

My foster family has had nothing but great things to say about me! They describe me as fun, loving, friendly, quiet, sweet, and so much more! I am definitely quick to steal your heart! Although I haven’t shown to be super crazy with energy as I prefer cuddles over play, daily exercise would surely be beneficial as well as new learning opportunities!
